Plucking Hair During Chol HaMoed

Question

I wanted to ask if during Chol HaMoed, is it permissible to play with the hairs in the beard and even sometimes pluck them intentionally, given that this does not necessarily involve beautification of the body?

Answer

Peace and joyous holidays to you!
It is permitted to handle hair, even if hairs are plucked while 'handling'. However, one should not pluck intentionally, unless it is for the purpose of beautification or similar.
