Makeup on Tisha B'Av

Is it permissible on Tisha B'Av to apply makeup on blemishes that are uncomfortable to go out with?

Answer

Hello Rabbi

Makeup is considered as anointing.

However, it is permissible to apply makeup before Tisha B'Av, and it can remain on Tisha B'Av.
