2. Is there any reason to be lenient regarding showers during the Nine Days?

1. She should begin fasting, and if regular contractions begin, she should immediately begin eating and drinking.
2. If she needs it in order to calm contractions, it is permitted. Likewise, if there is special difficulty due to suffering from the heat, which is more common at the end of pregnancy.
