Cutting Nails on the Night After Tisha B’Av

Question

Is it permitted to cut nails on the night after Tisha B’Av this year?

Answer

Shalom u’vracha

The night after Tisha B’Av has the same status as the Nine Days.

The prohibition against cutting nails during the Nine Days is a custom that does not have such a clear source.

Whatever is needed in honor of Shabbat is permitted already from the evening.
