Colitis Patient - Tisha B'Av
Question
Shalom,A 30-year-old woman with colitis and diagnosed with fibromyalgia, currently receiving medication for both conditions. Recently, she has experienced physical relief from the colitis, but inflammation markers are still high. According to her doctor, even during definite remission, fasting is prohibited as it can trigger flare-ups.Should she fast or not?
