Fasting on Tisha B'Av with Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Question

Peace and blessings! My wife has been suffering for years from irritable bowel syndrome. She suffers greatly from diarrhea and severe weakness. Just from the fear of the fast, she goes into hysteria and it causes her diarrhea. What is the law? Should she fast?
