Fasting on Tisha B'Av for a Nursing Mother
Question
A nursing mother whose baby is exclusively breastfed and is three and a half months old, and does not take supplements. Should she fast on Tisha B'Av?
Answer
Begin fasting, and if you see that the milk supply decreases, eat.
