Vacation on Rosh Chodesh Av

Is it appropriate to go on a vacation this coming Shabbat (Rosh Chodesh Av)? Thank you very much!

Shalom,
Going on vacation with a group is not allowed.
Going just with the immediate family is not forbidden.
Still, it’s not appropriate, since these days were designated for mourning.

Shulchan Aruch, Orach Chaim 551:1:
“From the beginning of Av, we reduce joy.”
And in the Mishnah Berurah (Seif Katan 1):
“One should not engage in any form of rejoicing at all during this time.”
