Free Sofa - The Nine Days

I have the opportunity to take a sofa from Agorah for free now during the Nine Days — is it permitted to take it, and would it be better to wait and not use it until after Tisha B'Av?

It is permitted to take it, since it would otherwise be a lost opportunity (Davar He'aved).
It’s better not to use it until after Tisha B’Av.
