A Sukkah with Pigeon Droppings
Question
Is it permissible to build a sukkah from boards that are soiled with pigeon droppings?

Shulchan Aruch, Orach Chaim 79:4
Dog and pig excrement: if hides were placed in them, one must distance oneself from them as from human excrement. If not, their law is like the excrement of other domesticated animals, wild animals, and birds, from which one need not distance oneself if they have no bad odor; but if they have a bad odor, their law is like human excrement.
Mishnah Berurah, siman 79, se’if katan 22
(22) “But if they have,” etc. — That is to say, if we know that they have a bad odor. But ordinarily one need not check this, because presumably they do not have a bad odor:
