A Screen over the Sukkah

If I understood correctly, the window lies above the sukkah and casts shade over it. And the window has no glass, only a screen.
In such a case: according to the basic halachah, the sukkah is valid, and it is also permitted to sit under that screen, since most of the area is open air, and therefore one is sitting in the shade of the sechach and not in the shade of the screen.
Some are stringent ab initio to place valid sechach on the screen itself, because they are concerned for the opinion that there is “lavud lechumra,” and the screen is considered invalid, attached, complete sechach. Only when valid sechach is mixed in with the screen itself does the majority nullify the minority.
