Non-Jewish Caregiver in the Sukkah

Question

Moadim l’simcha.
An elderly person who has a non-Jewish caregiver — may the caregiver be with us at the meals in the sukkah?

Answer

Shalom u’vrachah 

There is no halachic source stating that a non-Jew may not enter a sukkah. 

Therefore, although some sefarim were very stringent regarding this matter, when there is a need for the Jew sitting in the sukkah, it may be permitted.
