Writing Ethical Discourses on Chol Hamoed

Is it permissible to transcribe ethical discourses on Chol Hamoed for the purpose of publishing a book?

Hello,
As I understand, there is no necessity to do this on Chol Hamoed, and therefore it is prohibited, even if they are words of Torah.
