Sewing on Chol Hamoed

Is it preferable to sew with a change so that it is not considered professional work, or to wash another garment so that one has something to wear?
Answer
It is preferable to sew as non-professional work, with a change of one stitch on top and one stitch on the bottom, because washing is always considered a complete labor.
