Groom Shaving on Rosh Chodesh

Question

A groom whose wedding day falls on Rosh Chodesh, is he allowed to shave on that day?

Answer

It is forbidden if he follows the testament of Rabbi Yehuda HaChasid regarding the prohibition of haircuts, and he should verify the custom with his parents.
