Is it permissible to brush teeth on the Fast of Esther?

Answer

Hello Rabbi

Someone who is not fastidious should not brush their teeth.

Someone who is fastidious is permitted to brush, but should tilt their head to avoid swallowing water.

The definition of fastidious is someone who cannot feel settled without brushing their teeth.
