Fast of Esther - Thyroid Issue

Question

Should a girl who suffers from hypothyroidism and is stabilized with medication fast on the Fast of Esther?

Answer

Hello 

If she feels well and the fast does not interfere with the medication's effectiveness, she should fast. 

If there is interference, she should not fast.
