Question
Is there an issue with chametz during Passover held by companies in which I own shares (via pension or savings plan)? If so, does selling chametz help in this case?

Hello
There is an issue with chametz being in your possession during Passover.
Selling chametz is effective for this as well.
However, my teacher, the Gaon, Rabbi Amram Fried, shlita, wrote to me that it is unclear whether selling chametz by a shareholder is effective when the managing company did not conduct a sale of chametz.
