Placing Dishes in a Chametz Dishwasher

Shalom and blessings. In the bulletin "Azmera Leshimcha," it was mentioned that one can use a chametz dish dryer (plastic) on Passover, and there are those who are stringent. Based on this, is it permissible to use a "dishwasher" for chametz on Passover like a dish dryer, meaning without operating it (the place where the dishes are placed is plastic)?
