Question
Two years ago I asked a sheilah about which self-cleaning oven to buy that would be acceptable for Pesach. I was told by this site that Bosch and Constructa were the only reliable ovens. Now I see the list of acceptable self-cleaning Bosch ovens, and my model is not included. Model number HRA574BBO, Bosch pyrolytic self-cleaning oven. Maybe it is because it is an older model. Please clarify whether I can use this model for Pesach.
Answer
Shalom u’vrachah
I do not know what question was asked two years ago.
Indeed, Bosch and Constructa have several models that have received approval for kashering for Pesach, but not all of their models. Therefore, we attach the list of approved models to every such question.
If you have any doubt regarding this model, it would be best to contact the Technological Institute for Halacha: machon.halacha@gmail.com
