Using Marble on Passover

I am not going to cook anything on Passover. Do I need to cover the marble with foil?

Hello,

If the marble is clean and nothing hot is placed on it, there is no obligation by law to cover it.

Many have the custom to cover any area that comes into contact with food on Passover.
