Is it necessary to perform a kinyan on matzah before eating it?
Answer
There are those who have the custom that during the eating of matzah, the matzah should belong to them. Therefore, those who are guests at their parents' home perform a kinyan before eating the matzah. However, essentially, there is no need to perform a kinyan before eating since the kinyan is effected through chewing.
