Grilles Above the Sukkah
Question
My upstairs neighbor installed wide grilles above the area of my sukkah. Is it permissible to eat and sleep under them?
Answer
According to the basic law, it is permissible to eat or sleep under the grilles. However, there is room for stringency to place a bit of schach on the grille to make the area fit according to all opinions.
