Muktzeh in a Sukkah Lamp

Question

Is a lamp in the sukkah considered a sukkah decoration, designated for the mitzvah of sukkah, and is it forbidden to use it for another purpose?

Answer

If it is a regular lamp, it is not designated for the mitzvah, and it is permissible to use it. However, if it is a beautiful lamp intended to adorn the sukkah, it is forbidden to use it during the festival for mundane purposes.
