Searching for a Job on Chol HaMoed
Question
My wife is looking for a new job. Is she permitted on Chol HaMoed to write to recruiters or to answer recruiters who contact her? Is she permitted to edit her résumé in order to increase her chances of being accepted for a job?

She may not perform melachah for the purpose of searching for a job, but if a recruiter or someone offering a job contacts her, it is permitted.
It is likewise permitted for her to reach out herself when an opportunity arises that will no longer be available after the festival.
