Scheduling a Doctor’s Appointment on Chol HaMoed

Is it permitted to schedule a follow-up appointment with a specialist doctor in a hospital on Chol HaMoed?

It is forbidden when it is not an urgent need, or a need of the Moed.
The visit involves many forms of labor, including writing and more, which are forbidden when not needed for the Moed.
