A Woman Whose Husband is Absent During Candle Lighting

How should a woman act if her husband is absent during candle lighting?

Answer

She should light the candles on time, and her husband fulfills his obligation through her lighting. If her husband can come on time, it is preferable for him to come and light the candles.
