Hanukkah Candle with Stolen Oil
Question
Stolen oil, can one fulfill the obligation of lighting Hanukkah candles with it?
Answer
If done unintentionally, one fulfills the obligation; if done intentionally, according to Sephardic custom, one fulfills the obligation, but according to Ashkenazi custom, one does not fulfill it.
