Guest in a Guesthouse during Hanukkah
Question
I am staying in a guesthouse, sleeping in a room, and the dining hall is in another building. Where should I light the candles: in the room or in the dining hall?
Answer
Light in the room, not in the dining hall, and it is good to have a meal in the room.
