Blessing for Lighting Shabbat Candle in Dormitory
Question
Should a yeshiva student lighting Shabbat candles in his room recite a blessing?
Answer
If he eats in the dining room but lights in his room before they light there, or if they do not eat in the dining room, he should recite a blessing.
