The Joy of the Groom on a Fast Day
Question
He accepted a fast on the eve of Rosh Chodesh and then remembered that tomorrow is Rosh Chodesh. What should he do?
Answer
If he accepted the fast in the form of a commitment, he does not need to fast. If he accepted it in the form of 'behold, it is upon me,' he requires a release.
