Drinking Coffee After the Fast Ending on Shabbat Evening

Hello and blessings! This year, the fast of the Tenth of Tevet falls on Friday and ends on Shabbat evening. I wanted to ask when it is preferable to eat and drink coffee with cake (dairy): after Kiddush before Motzi, or is it better to bless Motzi and eat the dairy during the meal before eating meat?

Hello Rabbi,
According to Halacha, one can bless Motzi on bread, eat a kezayit, and then eat dairy. After the dairy, rinse the mouth and then meat can be eaten.
However, according to the Zohar, one should not eat meat and dairy in the same meal, so it is better to eat cake after Kiddush, and then wash hands and eat bread.
