Immersion on a Fast Day
Question
Is it permitted to immerse on a fast day, such as the 10th of Tevet?

It is permitted to immerse.
Bathing on a regular fast day is permitted according to the law, but it is commendable to be stringent.
On the eve of Shabbat, it is also permitted to bathe initially.
