Listening to Songs after Lag BaOmer

Is it permitted for Ashkenazim to listen to songs after Lag BaOmer?

The custom of Ashkenazim is to prohibit until Rosh Chodesh Sivan.
From Rosh Chodesh until the festival of Shavuot, there is a doubt in Sha'ar HaTziyon, and one may be lenient.
