Haircuts on Lag BaOmer

Question

If yeshiva students have a friend who is getting married on Lag BaOmer, may they shave and get a haircut after sunset, at the beginning of Lag BaOmer?

Answer

For his close friends one may be lenient, as in a case of pressing need, and allow them to shave [and get a haircut].
