Is it permitted to do hair straightening during Sefirat HaOmer, when the treatment also includes trimming the ends of the hair after the straightening? I am a 29-year-old single woman, and the timing is very important to me, so I would prefer not to postpone the treatment.

Hair straightening is permitted during Sefirat HaOmer. Hair cutting is forbidden.
[For the purpose of a shidduch, in a case of great need, it should be permitted].
