Shaving for Women during the Counting of the Omer

Are women also prohibited from haircuts during the Counting of the Omer, and what is the ruling regarding shaving for women not on the head?

There is no difference between men and women regarding the prohibition of haircuts.
However, shaving other parts of the body is not considered a haircut and is permitted.
