Washing Hands — Touching a Baby’s Foot

Question

If I touch a baby’s foot while holding him, do I need to wash my hands?
For example, if I hold him between washing my hands and reciting the blessing over bread (on Shabbat), is that a problem?

Answer

Shalom and blessings.

Any part of the baby’s body that is normally exposed does not require washing the hands.
