Washing Hands After Touching Shoes
Question
Do you need to wash hands every time you tie shoes for children aged 1-6?
Answer
Hello,
There is no difference in the age of the shoe owner.
Shoes that are not intended for walking, such as shoes for infants who do not walk and are worn only for beauty, do not have the status of shoes.
There is no obligation to wash hands immediately after touching shoes, but before prayer or blessing, one should wash hands.
