Removing Tzitzit with Scissors
Question
When wanting to replace the tzitzit, can they be cut with scissors or an iron knife?
Answer
It is permitted.
The prohibition only applies to cutting them before they are ready, meaning when you have a long thread and cut threads from it for tzitzit.
