Tallit Blessings
Question
If I recall correctly, if someone wears multiple tzitzit garments or tallitot during the day, he must make a blessing on each one unless he had them in mind when making the first blessing.
Can someone who later wears a tallit gadol make a blessing on a tzitzit garment with two intentions: 1) that the tzitzit garment should not coverer the later blessing of the tallit gadol, and 2) that the later blessing on the tallit gadol should not cover the tzitzit garment?
Or one can't make a tnai and it automatically works where the talit katan is yotze by talit gadol
I have always been troubled by the idea that someone may put on a tzitzit garment without a blessing and fulfill the blessing through the tallit gadol worn later.

Answer
Shalom!
Thank you for your question.
The laws of the blessing on a Tallit garment are very similar to the laws of the blessings on food: 1. what you have in mind is covered by the current blessing and 2. you can also have in mind to exclude certain foods.
Common custom is for a man to make a blessing on his Tallit gadol which also covers his Tallit katan.
Hope this answers your questions.
