Shalom Aleichem, I am an Ashkenazi Baal Teshuva. Which Tefillin is preferable to wear: Ashkenazi Beit Yosef or Ashkenazi Taz?

According to the instructions of the Gaon, Rabbi A. Fried, shlita:

 Wear 'Ashkenazi Taz'.
