Private Requests in the Amidah

Question

If one wishes to add private requests in the Amidah, is it preferable to add them in 'Shema Koleinu' or at the end of the prayer before 'Yihyu LeRatzon'?

Answer

Add them after 'Yihyu LeRatzon' so that you can respond to Kaddish and Kedusha, and then say 'Yihyu LeRatzon' again to include these requests as well.
