Need to Use the Bathroom During the Recitation of Shema
Question
If one needs to relieve themselves during the recitation of Shema and delays long enough to finish the entire prayer, what should be done?
Answer
In the case of the recitation of Shema, which is a Torah obligation, Ashkenazim should return to the beginning.
