Hearing Kaddish in the Blessings of Shema
Question
Someone who is in the position of "Yatziv V'Nakhon" etc., and hears Kaddish, should they respond, and similarly in the evening prayer "Emunah" etc.?
Answer
Shalom and blessings,
One should respond with "Amen, Yehei Shmei Rabbah Mevorach Le'olam Ule'olmei Olmaya," and not add "Yitbarach" etc., even if they usually do so.
They should also respond "Amen" after "Da'amiran Be'alma." However, they should not respond to other "Amens" or "Barchu."
