Cleaning the Hands with Mayim Acharonim
Question
Shalom Rav, if a person touched covered parts of the body during a meal and wants to recite Birkat Hamazon: may he perform mayim acharonim under the faucet, so that the entire palm of the hand becomes wet, and thereby fulfill both the obligation of mayim acharonim and the requirement to clean the hands before the blessing?
Answer
Shalom u'vrachah
Yes.
By washing the entire hand, he accomplishes both.
