Forgot the 'Hashkiveinu' Blessing in Maariv

Question

Made a mistake in the Maariv prayer and started the Amidah immediately after 'Ga'al Yisrael', without saying 'Hashkiveinu'. What should be done?

Answer

Recite the 'Hashkiveinu' blessing after the Amidah.
