Drinking soda water without being thirsty
Question
Does someone who drinks soda water not because of thirst need to recite the blessing “Shehakol” over it?
Answer
Shalom u’vracha
He should recite a blessing over it.
Since there is enjoyment in drinking it even for someone who is not thirsty.
