Blessing on Essential Oil

Is it necessary to recite a blessing on the scent of essential oil? If so, which blessing? Thank you very much.

Hello,
For a natural scent derived from plants, one recites the blessing appropriate to the type itself: "Atzei Besamim," "Isvei Besamim," or "Noten Re'ach Tov Ba'Perot."
However, if it involves synthetic chemical substitutes, it is customary not to recite a blessing.
