Separating Coating from Nuts

Question

If someone separates nuts and eats the peanut separately from the coating, should they recite two blessings?

Answer

One should not recite two blessings, only 'Mezonot', as it is considered secondary and separated. If the peanut is eaten before the coating, one should recite the blessing 'Shehakol'.
